The Val d'Orcia is a large valley in Tuscany, located partly in the province of Siena and partly in that of Grosseto, crossed by the river Orcia from which it takes its name.
The valley offers beautiful landscapes and many small medieval villages: among the best known are Pienza and Montalcino, a town worldwide known for its Brunello di Montalcino wine.
A Valley to be discovered along ancient paths immersed in landscapes of primitive and natural beauty, among the Tuscan hills, included in the World Heritage List by UNESCO in 2004.
