The Maremma Sailing Club is affiliated with the Italian Sailing Federation (FIV) and offers excellent activities and services.
The school is located south of the Port of Marina di Grosseto (next to Bagno Kursaal) where you can find a variety of boats: Fliyng Junior, X14, Catamarans, Optimists, Wind Surf boards and 2016 KITE SURF news, and many other boats with which you will learn to go by sea and appreciate nature, wind and waves.
The CNM organizes individual and group courses for all ages (from 7 to 70 years) and which are articulated in various levels.
In the morning hours with calm sea and light wind there are courses for children and beginners. During the afternoon with a cooler wind and with the more formed sea more expert crews descend into the water for training and regatta training. The courses are approximately 15 - 20 hours of lessons.
The school offers qualified personnel who will teach the nomenclature of the boat, the theory of sailing, the technique of driving and above all safety at sea.
The purpose of the school is to convey the passion for this sport and to make you become skilled students and try your hand at the Club's fleet regattas. If you want to go further, you can find all the support to become an expert racer.
Taking part in a sailing course is very easy: just go to the Circolo secretariat, or directly to the beach, with a medical certificate of good health, leave your personal details and fill out the registration form. The few euros spent on the F.I.V. they serve to have a personal insurance every time you are on the boat and that will allow you to participate in any race.
In addition to the Sailing School, the CNM offers the possibility of putting private boats back and for wind surfing offers the recovery of equipment in appropriate warehouses. For those who know how to sail, but do not have their own boat, the CNM provides school boats.
